
ABWA Medical College Organizes Intra-Class Poster Competition on “Netiquettes for Social Media Usage”
The Department of Medical Education at ABWA Medical College successfully organized an Intra-Class Poster Competition for 1st Year MBBS students on the much-needed and contemporary topic, “Netiquettes for Social Media Usage for Medical Students.”
The event aimed to raise awareness among future healthcare professionals about responsible, ethical, and professional conduct on digital platforms—an increasingly important aspect of modern medical practice.
Leadership and Guidance
Under the dynamic leadership of Respected Principal Dr. Ali Tirmizi (Department of ENT) and Vice Principal Dr. Ambreen Farrukh (Department of Pathology), the competition results were announced in a special ceremony held today.
The event was further supported by Dr. Altaf Pervez Qasim, Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire academic and extracurricular excellence at ABWA.
Judging Panel and Results
The competition was expertly evaluated by a panel comprising Dr. Syeda Jamila Tirmizey, Final Year MBBS student Sohaib Aftab (ABWA), and two external judges from Lahore and Sargodha. Their collective expertise ensured a fair and insightful assessment of the students’ creative presentations.
