ADMISSION IN ABWA MEDICAL COLLEGE

The Management of Abwa Medical College is pleased to announce the admissions in an undergraduate medical education program (MBBS) for the session 2025-26.

1. Number of Seats

Abwa Medical College, Faisalabad admits a total of 150 MBBS students in following two categories:
Pakistani Students.

A student, who is a Pakistani National and has completed F.Sc./HSSC or equivalent in Pakistan, All other candidates who do not fall under this definition shall be treated as foreign student (having foreign nationality) for the purpose of definition.

Foreign Students

A student, who is not a Pakistani student and only holds foreign/dual nationality or overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistani, and who studied and passed HSSC 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for admission and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect.

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR MBBS SESSION 2025-26

1. Eligibility Criteria 

MDCAT:

The candidate must have passed MDCAT 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with at least 55% marks for     MBBS.

Foreign nationals and Overseas Pakistanis may submit MDCAT, or alternatively SAT-II scores (minimum 550 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics) or MCAT (International)/UCAT scores with at least 50% in above-mentioned subjects. If any Foreign Self-Finance seat remains vacant, it shall be transferred to the Open Merit Quota, and the admitted candidate shall pay the open merit fee. Ineligible candidates shall not be admitted against such seats.

Qualification:

Applicants must have passed HSSC (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent 12th-grade qualification recognized by IBCC with at least 60% marks, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics. 

For Foreign Self-Finance seats, the candidate must hold a foreign nationality or be an Overseas Pakistani permanently residing abroad, having completed 12th grade or equivalent outside Pakistan, and must provide proof of residence and study from the last attended institution. Provided that Expatriate candidates having Intermediate / HSSC / A-Level with mandatory subjects of Chemistry and Biology are eligible for MBBS / BDS admissions on specified seats and the rest as optional subjects.

Domicile: 

Candidates holding domicile of any district of Pakistan are eligible to apply.

1. Merit Calculation Formulation

1. Matriculation/SSC/Equivalent            – 10% 
2. F.Sc./HSSC Pre-Medical / Equivalent – 40% 
3. MDCAT                                                    – 50%. 

1. Documents Required

Applicants are required to upload the following documents along with their online application. Failure to submit these documents shall render the application invalid:

1. Matriculation and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or their equivalent certificates/result cards attested by the relevant boards. 
2. Only domicile certificate of the applicant shall be acceptable (Not mandatory for foreign self finance seat). 
3. Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-Form of the applicant. 
4. CNIC of the applicant’s father, mother, or guardian. 
5. Valid Iqama/Residence Permit/Green Card/Foreign Passport of the applicant in case applying on foreign self-finance seat.
