ABWA Medical College Hosts First-Ever Intercollegiate Husn-e-Qiraat and Naat Competition

ABWA Medical College successfully organized its first-ever Intercollegiate Husn-e-Qiraat and Naat Competition, marking a historic milestone in the institution’s journey of academic and cultural excellence.

The event was held under the patronage of Patron-in-Chief Sir Khurram Iftikhar and Chairperson Ma’am Faiza Khurram, whose vision and leadership made this memorable initiative possible. The competition brought together talented students from multiple universities, showcasing their exceptional skills in Qiraat and Naat recitation.

Focal persons from participating universities expressed highly positive feedback, commending the magnitude of the event, the outstanding talent of the students, and the unmatched generosity and hospitality of ABWA Medical College.

The event was further graced by the presence of renowned naat khawan Prof. Rauf Roofi, who appreciated the college’s efforts and noted that it was the first time in his career he attended such a program during morning hours — a gesture that brought great honor to the institution.

Special recognition was given to Dr. Jamila for her remarkable efforts in organizing the event, alongside the dedicated contributions of the faculty organizing team, including COO Prof. Dr. Altaf Pervez Qasim, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Ambreen, HOD Biochemistry Prof. Dr. Saira, Dr. Hanif (Anatomy Department), and Dr. Noor I Kiran.

The collective efforts of Team LDS, Team Apex, and Team AMS also played a vital role in ensuring the success of the program.
